Founded: 1995

Shandong Pengxiang Automobile Co., Ltd. was reformed from FAW Shandong Vehicle Refitting Factory and co-established by Jilin Dongguang Group Corporation, FAW Group Corporation, Leadyond Capital Investment Company and the management team of the company, with a registered capital of 200 million yuan. The company is located in Penglai City with an area of 486,000 sqm. The products include special vehicles, axles of middle/heavy-duty trucks, hydraulic parts and truck frames. Each year it makes 20,000 special vehicles, 200,000 drive axles, 50,000 steering axles, 50,000 sets of suspensions, 20,000 hydraulic systems and 30,000 truck frames. The special vehicles include semi-trailers, dump trucks, vans and off-highway dump trucks in 130 categories. The axles include steering axles, drive axles and auxiliary axles, and the steering axles are sorted into single-stage deceleration axles (390, 420, 435, 457, 485 series) and double-stage deceleration axles (LB300, LC300 and off-highway dump truck series). The hydraulic parts include hydraulic cylinders, gear pumps and control valves, and the hydraulic cylinders are sorted into single-action cylinders and double-action cylinders, and the single-action cylinders are sorted into single-stage cylinders (180,200 and 220 series) and multiple-stage cylinders (180 and 191 series). The truck frames meet the production demands of all types of chassis of Beiben (Penglai) Heavy-duty Trucks Co., Ltd. The company has more than 850 exquisite production equipment, cutting-edge technology (24 patented products), digital-controlled and automatic processing, 4 special factories, more than 20 advanced assembly lines, and 1,500 employees (including over 90 with middle and high titles and 70 technicians). The company has passed the certifications of ISO9001 (in 1997) and TS16949 (in 2005). For many years, it has been ranked Top 500 Enterprises in Chinese Machinery Industry and awarded "Star Enterprise in Economic Development" by Yantai Government. "Pengxiang" refitted trucks were awarded "Shandong Famous Products" in 2005, "Pengxiang" drive axles were awarded "Chinese Famous Products" in 2007, the company was titled High-tech Enterprise and Provincial-level Technological Center in 2009,"Pengxiang" trademark was honored "Chinese Famous Trademark" in 2010.
